Opportunities

The Foundation for Safer Housing believes that every person no matter what your circumstance is entitled to live in safer housing. To this end, we strive to bring forward programs that can benefit those who cannot help themselves.

We are establishing ourselves as a known charitable foundation fulfilling a required need within all communities. We continue to push the boundaries of past support, expanding our base to increase the effectiveness of our ability to help others. We have a culture of innovation where our volunteers can make a difference and we are looking for like minded, dynamic individuals to come and join our rapidly expanding team.

Safe House Campaign

Volunteers are needed to help get the message out to the corporate world, either by direct contact, telephone contact or letter writing efforts. Each time we send out a program message to a support group or periodical we literally receive thousands of requests. Sending out alarms, 500 at a time can be a daunting project for one person.

Donate a Cell Phone

Volunteers are needed to help get the message out to the schools and other groups, either by direct contact, telephone contact or letter writing efforts. Also many high schools require some sort of public service effort be performed by a graduating student. This is an ideal place for a person to make contact and help set up a program for the students to start a collection project and earn school credits at the same time, while helping others in need.

Newsletter

Volunteers are needed to help get the message out to everyone. A quarterly newletter is in the process of being developed, we need writers and stories. If you feel up to the task, please let us know.

Scholarship Program

Although a small project, volunteers are need to help find and qualify students requesting college financial need. Some phone contact and letter writing would be required.
