One Volunteer goes above and beyong

James Rooff from Waterloo, Iowa a volunteer member of the Foundation for Safer Housing, owner of Milestone Home Inspection, LLC and NACHI home inspector, made a promise to a friend and himself that he would help someone.

When a friend of his contracted cancer and saw what the treatments can do to an individual he took a bold and unusual step forward. In a personal project that he named "Twenty Years or Twenty Four Inches", it was time to give the gift of hair.

What a project it turned out to be! After twenty years of growth it was finally time to let those precious strands to find a new owner. James along with several other friends took to the streets on a sponsoring champaign. James was able to personally generate $1,185.00 and the group with the public shaving generated a whopping $19,000.00 to the Childrens Miracle Network and the Locks of Love Program.
